FAQ'S
Is there an end of the year recital?
Yes, the 2015 recital date is May 16, 2015. Students will rehearse their dances the last few minutes of class beginning in February. There is usually a dress rehearsal before the recital as well. We alternate between a recital and performance, on recital years each class will perform a dance and on performance years we perform a show with a storyline. This year is a performance year!
Are there any recital fees?
Yes, there are costume fees ranging from $25-$100 however many classes may have the option of wearing something they already have or renting their costume from us. In addition to these you have the option of purchasing, flowers, a memory book, DVD or videotaping pass.
Are there ticket fees?
Depending on the cost of the theater tickets can range from $3-$20. We try to keep ticket prices for the recital low by selling advertising space in our program.
How many days a week do students meet?
Most of the classes are once a week however, our advanced students may be required to take up to five classes a week. When you enroll the description should display the frequency of the class.
Is there a performing group?
Yes, the student dance company the audition date is August 2, 2014.
Where can I purchase dance attire?
You can purchase dance wear at the studio or order it through our website. This is strongly suggested to ensure you get the right attire.
How do I enroll online if I am a scholarship student?
Currently, scholarship students can only enroll over the phone or in person. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Do I have to sign up for the e-mail list?
E-mail is the fastest and easiest way to communicate with our families. We send e-mails when the studio is closed due to weather, when we have a reminders and of our monthly newsletter. If you want to stay in the know we suggest you add an email address to your student account.
Is there a parent observation week?
Yes, the week before winter break and parent participation is the last week of classes.
Where can I find specific dates for breaks and such?
When is tuition due?
The first day of each month, tuition received after the first cannot be accepted without the $20 late fee.
Is tuition prorated for month’s with less days?
No, tuition is divided evenly over nine months. Tuition stays the same no matter whether there are more or less days in the month.
Can I withdraw at any time?
Yes, classes are month by month, you must however give us a 14 day notice if you are withdrawing from classes.
Is tuition refundable?
No, all tuition and fees are non refundable.
Are there tuition discounts?
Yes, there is a discount for siblings and students enrolled in multiple classes. We are proud to start offering a 10% discount to pastors, missionaries and military families starting in 2014.
